3-month contract to hire.
Location: Remote until the team is back on site in Dublin, OH.
Must have been a product owner for 5+ years of mobile applications, compiles user portal experiences, and/or integrated digital experiences.
Has experience working with product strategy and user experience (UX). Can clearly articulate what core activities, deliverables, and resources be needed to deliver a digital product.
Resourceful in efforts to bring clarity in whatever form (visual, communication, etc.) to gain alignment across team members and deliver results timely.
Does not need direction on what to do - self-starter, proactive, leader.
Beneficial: Skills as a portfolio or program manager.
Soft skills needed: curious, not afraid to say "no", creative thinking, relationship builder. Not a Business Analyst. Not a Project Manager.
Work with product sponsors and stakeholders (UI/UX design, marketing, analytics, technology, compliance/legal, business SMEs) to fully understand and inform product goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing and to deliver products within an agile methodology.
Develop business scope and requirements.
Manage product development from current state to closure; creates and executes product work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manage and/or Execute any internal quality assurance and user acceptance testing process to deliver a product that’s in line with business, functional and technical requirements. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities; determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete product road map/project plan.
Manage risk associated with delivering applications and specific application features.
Partner with IT, Content Management, and Business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and communicate a clear resolution plan to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
Analyze support issues to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Effectively lead and facilitate meetings and presentations by setting a clear agenda, ensuring proper preparation, and following up with the documenting of key insights, decisions, and actionable next steps.
